International Women's Day is March 8th, and this year the theme is #EachforEqual. We all have a part to play in working for gender equality - so we wanted to share a list of a few ways you can take action in March and all year to make a difference.

ASK A WOMAN TO RUN FOR OFFICE
Nominate a woman (or 10!) you know would be great in public leadership.

EDUCATE OTHERS ON THE IMPORTANCE OF GIRLS’ EDUCATION & GENDER EQUALITY
Make a creative post sharing information from one of these organizations: Plan International, Girl Up, or Girls Not Brides (make sure to tag us so we see it too and can share!).

USE SOCIAL MEDIA AS A POSITIVE FORCE

Pledge to help women and girls achieve their ambitions; call for gender-balanced leadership and create flexible cultures at the IWD website.
